2017 POLE INSPECTIONS
YVEA will be inspecting and testing all overhead distribution power poles in the area of Moffat County Road 7 in the entire Cedar Mt. and Great Divide areas then move to the Maybell, Sunbeam and Elk Springs areas for some spot pole inspections. The inspection is to identify any poles that need replaced or repaired due to damage or rot.
The inspection contractor for YVEA is Power Pole Inspections from Ft. Collins, CO. and the crews plan on starting the week of July 17th, 2017.
Inspections should last for 6 to 8 weeks and they will access YVEA poles via truck, UTV, ATV and by foot, depending on access.
Once complete in the Craig District, the inspection will move to a transmission line in the area of Routt County Road 27 between US 40 and Oak Creek between substations.
YVEA appreciates your assistance for access and patience with the process during this inspection,
Feel free to call Larry Ball, Field Services Supervisor, at (970)871-2282 if any concerns or questions about the inspection or access issues.
