The Yampa Valley Electric Association, Inc. (YVEA) Board of Directors has reached an agreement with Scott Blecke, P.E., MBA, to serve as the next CEO of YVEA, which will include overseeing Luminate Broadband.

6.20.24-Planned outage in Steamboat Springs: There is a planned outage from 11:55 pm Thursday, June 20th, lasting for four hours, until Friday, June 21st at 4:00 am. This will impact members on Lincoln Ave and Oak Street, from 5th to 13th Street. Autocalls have been sent out to impacted members.

As part of our ongoing commitment to security, YVEA's monthly scheduled server maintenance will be taking place Friday, July 21st, from 6-8 pm. During this time, we may see interruptions of service to SmartHub, Secure Pay by Phone, and Outage map. Thank you for your patience during this time period.

SmartHub and pay-by-phone will be unavailable on 6.18.24 at 10:59 pm, for roughly four hours.

YVEA's Annual Meeting is taking place at our Craig office on June 25th, with registration beginning at 3:00 pm and the call-to-order happening at 3:30 pm.

YVEA did not receive any nomination packets for outside candidates, making the 2024 election an uncontested election.

Director nominations are now open! The districts up for election are District #1: Glynda Sheehan; District #8: Scott McGill; District #9: Ken Rogers.

4.4.24: We have a planned outage for tomorrow night, 8:30-11 pm, 14 members on Russel Ave, Russell Street, and E Victory Way in Craig. We sent out auto calls to the impacted members yesterday. Thank you for your understanding as we work to replace equipment.

NISC will be performing system maintenance on the NISC Payment Gateway on Wednesday, March 27th starting at 10:59 pm. This maintenance will require downtime of the Gateway to update each server and is expected to be under 4 hours, during which SmartHub and pay-by-phone will not be available.
